I'm Rachel, the heart and soul behind Dungeons NOT Dating. As a queer woman with a journey as diverse as the realms of Dungeons and Dragons, let me share a bit about the player behind the screen.

 

No Formal Education, All the Life Lessons: I've navigated the winding paths of life without the confines of formal education. From the vibrant world of bartending to the compassionate role of a caregiver and the high-stakes realm of financial services as a broker, my journey has been a tapestry of experiences.

 

Unexpectedly Hooked on DND: An extroverted socialite at heart, I once thought Dungeons and Dragons wasn't my scene. Oh, how wrong I was! Introduced to the magic by friends who had a seat at their campaign table, I found myself enchanted by the endless possibilities and creative role-play.

 

The Pandemic Plot Twist: As the pandemic cast its shadow, our in-person adventures shifted to the virtual realm. Life got in the way, and our campaign concluded. I sought solace in online communities, watching others' adventures, and delving into DnD video games, but nothing could replace the magic of a real campaign.

 

From Seeking to Creating: Frustrated by the lack of opportunities to play, I applied for online campaigns to no avail. Now, in a new community, I've found a fellowship to embark on another incredible adventure. And it's this passion that fuels Dungeons NOT Dating.

 

Building Bridges to Adventure: Taking a hiatus from the 9-5 grind, I'm on a quest to create a platform that helps you find the right table to begin your own adventure. Because Dungeons and Dragons isn't a spectator sport—true magic unfolds when you become the player, the storyteller, and the hero.
